Cosmos Midwifery is Chloë Lubell and Jenna Hutchens, two Certified Nurse Midwives offering full spectrum reproductive care, holistic gynecology, prenatal care, homebirth, waterbirth, and postpartum care to people living in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan, NYC.

Our services:

    Pregnancy Care

    Cosmos Midwifery provides unique, individualized, family-centered care throughout pregnancy to respectfully support our clients in a vulnerable and tender time. We use long prenatal visits, lots of education, lab work and ultrasound, hands-on evaluation, and emotional support to offer the most comprehensive care possible.

    Labor & Birth

    Cosmos Midwifery offers homebirth care in New York City - Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx. We are available to you from the beginning to the end of your birth to ensure that you and your family are safe and supported. We respect your intuition and innate knowledge of what is best for you and your family throughout this process and help you to achieve those things.

  • Jenna is listening to a newborn's heartbeat while they are in their father's arms. The birthing woman is holding the baby's hand. The family is at home in bed immediately postpartum.

    Postpartum & Newborn

    We don’t expect you to do this alone - we have expanded traditional postpartum care so that you receive visits from the midwives at your home, virtually, and in the office, as well as visits from a Lactation Consultant and Postpartum Doula. Certified Nurse Midwives care for your new baby through the first 30 days of their life and care for you throughout the rest of your life. Postpartum is forever!

  • Jenna is folding fabric on our exam table. We provide physical exams on a massage table if needed, including pap smears and other internal pelvic exams.

    Well Body Care

    Cosmos Midwifery cares for our clients throughout their lifetime. Gynecological visits are an hour long and include clinical evaluation, lab tests, conversation, and prescription of pertinent medications. We provide contraception, support for sexual health, extended postpartum care, visits for teens, menopause support, and Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy.
